Product Gene Name: [Wnt6]

Product Gene Name Synonyme: N/A

Other Gene Names: N/A

Clonality: Polyclonal

Isotype: IgG

Clone: N/A

Host: Rabbit

Reactivity: Chicken

Specificity: Reacts with the chicken Wnt6 protein. On Western blots, it identifies a band at ~35kD and one at ~45kD. The two bands may represent different isoforms or post-translational modification states. Immunohistochemical and immunofluoresent staining using this antibody is observed in non-neural ectoderm of chick embryos from stages 8 to 14, consistent with the reported expression of Wnt6 mRNA as determined by in situ hybridization. Additional staining is found in ectodermal tissues caudal to the otic level in heart-and gut-forming regions. Reactivity has been confirmed with stage 8-20 chicken embryo homogenates.

Purity: Epitope-affinity purified from rabbit antiserum.

Form: Supplied as a liquid in PBS, pH 7.2. No preservatives added. Labeled with Horseradish Peroxidase (HRP).

Concentration: N/A

Storage Stability: Store product at 4 degree C if to be used immediately within two weeks. For long-term storage, aliquot to avoid repeated freezing and thawing and store at -20 degree C. Aliquots are stable at -20 degree C for 12 months after receipt. Dilute required amount only prior to immediate use. Further dilutions can be made in assay buffer. Note: Sodium azide is a potent inhibitor of peroxidase and should not be added to HRP conjugates.

Tested Application: Immunohistochemistry (IHC) Frozen, Immunofluorescence (IF), Western Blot (WB)
