Specificity: HSV Type 2 by Western blot. Produces a positive reaction with HSV-2 strain G infected Vero cells but not HSV-1 infected cells. Western blot assays revealed that this glycoprotein is highly processed and several antigenically related protein bands of gG-2 were detected.

Further dilutions can be made in assay buffer.
