Product Short Name: [Glutamate Transporter]
Product Name Synonyme: [Glutamate Transporter (GTRAP48, EAAT4, Associated Protein)]
Other Names: [glutamate transporter; Excitatory amino acid transporter 3; excitatory amino acid transporter 3; OTTHUMP00000021006; excitatory amino acid carrier 1; solute carrier family 1 member 1; neuronal and epithelial glutamate transporter; sodium-dependent glutamate/aspartate transporter 3; solute carrier family 1 (neuronal/epithelial high affinity glutamate transporter, system Xag), member 1; Excitatory amino-acid carrier 1; Neuronal and epithelial glutamate transporter; Sodium-dependent glutamate/aspartate transporter 3; Solute carrier family 1 member 1]
Product Gene Name: N/A
Product Gene Name Synonyme: N/A
Other Gene Names: [SLC1A1; SLC1A1; EAAC1; EAAT3; EAAC1; EAAT3]
Clonality: Polyclonal
Isotype: IgG
Clone: N/A
Host: Host: Rabbit
Source: Rat
Reactivity: Rat
Specificity: The rat peptide is 92% conserved in human GTRAP48. Antibody crossreactivity in various species is not established. Control peptide, because of its low MW (<3kD), is not suitable for Western. It is recommed for ELISA, dot blot, or for antibody blocking experiments (use 5-10 ug of control peptide per 1 ug of aff pure IgG or 1 ul of antiserum) to demonstrate antibody specificity.
Purity: Purified using the control peptide-Sepharose
Form: Serum
Supplied as a liquid, neat serum, 40% glycerol.
Concentration: N/A
Storage Stability: May be stored at 4 degree C for short-term only. For long-term storage and to avoid repeated freezing and thawing, aliquot and add glycerol (40-50%). Freeze at -20 degree C. Aliquots are stable for at least 12 months at -20 degree C. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap. Further dilutions can be made in assay buffer.
Tested Application: ELISA, Western Blot
