Specificity: Recognizes Exendin 4. No crossreactivity with GLP-1, GLP-2 (human) or glucagon coated on ELISA wells. Full reaction with Exendin 4 when coated on ELISA wells showing an epitope in the 9-39 region. Reacts specifically with Exendin 4 in solution giving a Ka of 1.6x10e8 in an inhibition ELISA. The binding between E9050-03 and Exendin 4 is disrupted by 4.5M MgCl2.
