Specificity: Recognizes human mast cells in routinely fixed tissues, and has been used to study the distribution of mast cells in skin, synovium, lung and heart. Binding of this antibody to chymase is not reduced in the presence of heparin, suggesting that the antibody does not bind to the heparin-binding domain of chymase

Storage Stability: May be stored at 4 degree C for short-term only. For long-term storage and to avoid repeated freezing and thawing, aliquot and add glycerol (40-50%). Freeze at -20 degree C. Aliquots are stable for at least 12 months at-20 degree C. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap. Further dilutions can be made in assay buffer.
