Description

HSP27 (Heat Shock Protein 27) Mouse Monoclonal Antibody | MBS439472 | MyBiosource

Product Short Name: [HSP27 (Heat Shock Protein 27) ]

Product Name Synonyme: [Heat shock 27kDa protein, Estrogen-regulated 24kDa protein, Heat shock 25kDa protein 1, Heat shock 28kDa protein 1, Heat shock protein beta-1, HMN2B, Hsp25, Hsp28, HspB1, Stress-responsive protein 27 (SRP27) ]

Other Names: [heat shock protein beta-1; Heat shock protein beta-1; heat shock protein beta-1; heat shock protein family B (small) member 1; 28 kDa heat shock protein; Estrogen-regulated 24 kDa protein; Heat shock 27 kDa protein; HSP 27; Stress-responsive protein 27; SRP27]

Product Gene Name: [HSPB1]

Product Gene Name Synonyme: N/A

Other Gene Names: [HSPB1; HSPB1; CMT2F; HMN2B; HSP27; HSP28; Hsp25; SRP27; HS.76067; HEL-S-102; HSP27; HSP28; HspB1; HSP 27; SRP27]

Clonality: Monoclonal

Isotype: IgG1, kappa

Clone: [HSPB1/774 ]

Host: Mouse

Reactivity: Human, Chimpanzee, Sheep, Rat, Mouse, Chicken

Specificity: It recognizes a 24-27kDa estrogen-regulated protein, identified as heat shock protein 27 (hsp27) . Hsp27 was recently found to be identical to the estrogen-induced -p29- and -24K- protein. About 50% of breast carcinomas are positive for hsp27 especially those that are also positive for estrogen and/or progesterone receptor. HSP27 has also been implicated in drug resistance in cancer cells.
