Clonality: Monoclonal

Isotype: IgG2a

Clone: [SM3]

Host: Mouse

Reactivity: Human

Specificity: This antibody recognises mucin 1 (MUC1). MUC1 is a large cell surface mucin glycoprotein expressed by most glandular and ductal epithelial cells and some hematopoitic cell lineages. In the vast majority of human carcinomas, this protein is upregulated, poorly glycosylated and appears on the cell surface in a non-polarised fashion. The SM3 antibody reacts with a core protein epitope defined as PDTRP. SM3 also detects MUC1 within colon and ovarian cancer and most adenocarcinomas.

Purity: Purified on protein A from tissue culture supernatant.

Form: Purified IgG supplied in Phosphate buffered saline (PBS) containing 0.09% Sodium azide

Concentration: 1mg/ml

Storage Stability: N/A

Tested Application: ELISA (EIA), Flow Cytometry (FC/FACS), Immunocytochemistry (ICC), Immunofluorescence (IF), Immunohistochemistry (IHC) Formalin/Paraffin
