Specificity: Recognizes the M1 matrix protein for any strain of Influenza A. Conservation of the matrix protein sequence between hemagluttinin/neuraminidase typed strains. Does not react with the M2 matrix protein, Influenza B, Adenovirus, Respiratory syncytial virus or Parainfluenza viruses. Does not react with HEp-2 cells by indirect immunofluorescence.

Purity: Purified by Ammonium Sulfate Precipitation and Ion Exchange Chromatography.
