Specificity: Recognizes the rat LFA-1 (lymphocyte function associated molecule-1) beta chain (CD18; 95-100kD) which is associated with the alpha chain (CD11a; 160-70kD). Therefore, this monoclonal antibody recognizes Mac-1 and gp150/95 as well as LFA-1. Inhibits homotypic aggregation of PHA blasts.It also blocks binding of rat lymphocytes to purified rat ICAM-1.

Purity: >= 99% Purified by Affinity Chromatography. No contaminants detected. Single band by SDS-PAGE, IEP, and/or RID. The Purified monoclonal antibody was biotinylated with N-hydroxysuccinimidobiotin and then dialyzed to remove remaining free biotin.

Storage Stability: Store product at 4 degree C if to be used immediately within two weeks. For long-term storage, aliquot to avoid repeated freezing and thawing and store at -20 degree C. Aliquots are stable at -20 degree C for 12 months after receipt. Dilute required amount only prior to immediate use. Further dilutions can be made in assay buffer. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap.
