Description
Anti - Resistin-like Molecule, beta (RELMb) | MBS611595 | MyBiosource
Product Short Name: [Resistin-like Molecule, beta]
Product Name Synonyme: [Resistin-like Molecule, beta (RELMb)]
Other Names: [resistin-like beta; RELM-beta protein; resistin-like beta; OTTHUMP00000215152; found in inflammatory zone 1; colon carcinoma-related gene protein; cysteine-rich secreted protein FIZZ2; cysteine-rich secreted A12-alpha-like protein 1; cysteine-rich secreted protein A12-alpha-like 1; colon and small intestine-specific cysteine-rich protein; C/EBP-epsilon regulated myeloid-specific secreted cysteine-rich protein precursor 2; resistin like beta]
Product Gene Name: N/A
Product Gene Name Synonyme: N/A
Other Gene Names: [RETNLB; RELM-beta; XCP2; FIZZ1; FIZZ2; HXCP2; RELMb; RELMbeta; RELM-beta]
Clonality: Polyclonal
Isotype: IgG
Clone: N/A
Host: Host: Rabbit
Source: Mouse
Reactivity: Mouse
Specificity: Mouse sequence is only 42% conserved in human RELM-beta. We recommend the use of antibody that is raised to human RELM-beta sequence. No significant sequence was found with resistin or RELM-alpha. Antibody crossreactivity in various species is not established. We recommend the use of control peptide (use 5-10 ug of peptide per 1 ug of aff pure or 1 ul of antiserum) to demonstrate antibody specificity. Control peptides, because of their small size (< 2kD), are not suitable for Western.
Purity: Affinity purified over the control-peptide Sepharose
Form: Affinity Purified
Supplied as a liquid in PBS, pH 7.4 and 0.1% sodium azide, 40% glycerol.
Concentration: N/A
Storage Stability: May be stored at 4 degree C for short-term only. For long-term storage and to avoid repeated freezing and thawing, aliquot and add glycerol (40-50%). Freeze at -20 degree C. Aliquots are stable for at least 12 months at -20 degree C. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap. Further dilutions can be made in assay buffer.
Tested Application: ELISA, Western Blot
