Specificity: This item detects an epitope within the internal domain of human Ephrin Type A Receptor 4 (EphA4), a 75kD single-pass type I membrane protein which is a member of the ephrin receptor subfamily of the protein-tyrosine kinase family.

EphA4 is ubiquitously expressed in the body, and is thought to play a role in a number of different developmental pathways, including the corticospinal tract formation, hindbrain pattern formation and regulating the structure of synaptic connections. EphA4 may also act as a locomotor central pattern generator.
