Other Names: [Homo sapiens chondroitin sulfate proteoglycan 4 (CSPG4), mRNA; Chondroitin sulfate proteoglycan 4; chondroitin sulfate proteoglycan 4; chondroitin sulfate proteoglycan 4; Chondroitin sulfate proteoglycan NG2; Melanoma chondroitin sulfate proteoglycan; Melanoma-associated chondroitin sulfate proteoglycan]

Product Gene Name: [CSPG]

Product Gene Name Synonyme: N/A

Other Gene Names: [CSPG4; CSPG4; NG2; MCSP; MCSPG; MSK16; CSPG4A; HMW-MAA; MEL-CSPG; MCSP]

Clonality: Polyclonal

Isotype: IgG

Clone: N/A

Host: Rabbit

Reactivity: Rat, Human, Monkey, Mouse

Specificity: Recognizes rat NG2 Chondroitin Sulfate Proteoglycan between ~270-300kD. Reacts with both the intact Chondroitin Sulfate Proteoglycan and the core protein by Western Blot and ELISA. When oligodendrocyte pecurser cells (O-2A progenitor cells) are stained alive, the stain appears as clusters on the cell surface. Does not stain diferentatied oligodendrocytes well. Species Crossreactivity: human, mouse and monkey.

Purity: Purified by Protein A Affinity Chromatography.

Form: Supplied as a liquid in PBS, pH 7.2. No preservative added. Labeled with Horseradish Peroxidase (HRP).

Concentration: N/A

Storage Stability: Store product at 4 degree C if to be used immediately within two weeks. For long-term storage, aliquot to avoid repeated freezing and thawing and store at -20 degree C. Aliquots are stable at -20 degree C for 12 months after receipt. Dilute required amount only prior to immediate use. Further dilutions can be made in assay buffer. Note: Sodium azide is a potent inhibitor of peroxidase and should not be added to HRP conjugates.

Tested Application: ELISA (EIA), Western Blot (WB), Immunocytochemistry (ICC), Immunohistochemistry (IHC), Immunoprecipitation (IP)
